We enjoyed creating art using nature. The children were very creative and worked well as a team.
Please find attached the spelling list that you will be learning throughout Year 3 and 4. Each week 10 spellings from this list will be sent home for you to learn, these will then be tested in class.
This September, the curriculum is changing and as part of that, we have a new spelling list, which you must be able to spell by the end of the year. We shall be giving you a list every half term to learn. We will assess your spelling of these at the end of every half term. Here is the first list if you want to get started!
Next Wednesday is the last day of term. We will have our Star of the term assembly at 9 o’clock and are finishing at 2.30. If you wish to bring in a game to play in class, feel free to do so. Please do not bring electronic games or iPods. We are busy getting our classrooms ready for our very exciting learning next term and can’t wait to get started!
On Friday we will be raising money for the Lincolnshire Emergency Blood Bike Services. They will be giving a talk on the KS2 playground and we will be able to take part in a quiz. Please bring 50p to donate. At the Summer Bash, they will also be raising money by creating a bike out of coppers so bring plenty of change! Visit their website for more information on what they do.
The summer holidays are approaching and it’s very easy to forget some of the facts that you’ve worked hard to learn. Don’t forget that you can log into Sumdog to keep your mental maths skills on top form. If you have forgotten your log in, please email Mrs Saville at email@example.com
