In Y3/4 we are working with Mr Sledge to develop our dance skills. We have great rhythm and some of us are quite individual styles. We looked great playing ‘air tennis’ to the count of 8 to improve our beat work.

Here is this week’s homework. Well done to all of you who worked really hard on your presentation last week.

We are lucky enough to be working with Mr Crouch to develop our music skills over this term. We practised keeping a beat and played a tune as a whole group. We are using the correct musical notation so we can be experts and share our own performance later in the term.

Year 3 homework 18th Sept

Over this half term year 3 will be learning about animals, including humans. Look at the fun we have had making and labelling our own skeletons.

We had a fantastic day at Woodside Falconry, seeing all sorts of animals and learning all about the Rainforest in the Tropical House! We also saw feeding time for the wolves and a few brave people even held some snakes!

We’ve had a great day at Woodside Falconry! We met their new tigers and watched the wolves feeding. We were able to hold snakes and lizards and meet Sharon the tarantula. We loved the meerkats and the baby marmosets. Some people were were not very keen to meet the tarantula but were very brave in the end!

We have created our own rainforest biosphere with quick growing plants and a germination dome. We will be monitoring the progress of growth each week.
