What a busy week we’ve had! We’ve had to work incredibly hard to finish our music performance to share at Open Afternoon. It was amazing to see so many visitors around our classes – we could hardly move! It is brilliant to have the opportunity to share our learning with you all.

Our highlight today was finding lots of our own images on Google. This blog has been picked up through the tags and when we were searching for images of Percy Fawcett,we found our own role play! It just goes to show that anyone can post anything on the internet and that anything you put online can easily be seen by others. A great e-safety tip!

We have been lucky enough to work with Mrs McCormick and take part in an anti-bullying workshop.  

Well done to a group of children who went along to Morrisons to collect vegetables for our soup project. The soup was delicious and we were very proud of the positive comments about the behaviour and manners of the children.

Well done on creating such wonderful masks. We used them to perform our jungle compositions and imagined that we were in the rainforest. Come to the open afternoon to see the performance and all of the brilliant masks.

We would lie to welcome you to come and see our learning and find out more about how we learn. The Y3/4 open afternoon will start in the hall at 2pm and then you can explore the learning in the 4 classrooms.

Children- remember to have your masks in school by Thursday.

This week we have discovered Percy Fawcett after his exploration in the rainforest. We’ve used role play to show how he would be feeling and what might have happened to him whilst he was lost. We’ve tried to use lots of emotive language. Can anyone explain what this means?

In Y4, we have been using emails to communicate. We have looked at how to open mail, read it and reply safely.
