On Wednesday 17th December, we will be sharing our Christmas stories that we’ve written in our Literacy Learning Journey. We will be doing this in the studio. To create that magical Christmas atmosphere we are inviting you to bring in a pair of pyjamas and a blanket to use for this.
We have really enjoyed weighing parcels to fit into Santa’s sleigh. We have been measuring with accuracy, solving measures problems and working out values on scales. Can you find anything at home that has a mass of 1kg?
We were joined by road safety officers to learn how to ride scooters safely and how to use them on the street. We practised emergency stops and steering. It was great fun and we are now much more aware of the safety aspects required when scooting out and about!
For the past 7 weeks, a group of children have been attending Drumming Club with an expert musician to develop their skills. On Tuesday, they performed for parents in their grand finale!
Y3/4 had a great time this week learning about how to have better control of our scooters and how to be safe on pavements. We took it turns to be different vehicles and obstacles. We even had a ‘push and glide’ race and some of us made it across the entire playground!
This is the last week of homework before Christmas.
