Children’s Festival Fun!

Year 3 took part in the Children’s Festival on Monday 27th June, and thoroughly enjoyed performing parts of their school play, ‘What a Knight’, to an audience on Lincoln High Street. The children acted out their favourite scenes in full costume and wowed the audience with their energetic singing and dancing. As well as performing, Year 3 also got the chance to watch other schools perform, and take part in a drama workshop. They had a wonderful time at the festival and look forward to taking part again next year!

Holi Festival!

Year 3 took part in a very exciting Holi festival this afternoon!

The festival completes our RE learning journey about Hinduism.

The children had a wonderful afternoon and definitely went home looking very colourful!

Thank you to all the families who came to Sports Day today!

The children loved having you there to cheer them on and there was such a lovely atmosphere.

Here are some Year 3 pictures from this afternoon.

Well done children!

Musical Masterpiece

Year 4 have been working very hard at recreating the story of Rapunzel musically. After experimenting with different note duration, pitch, timbre, tempo, rhythm and melody in groups, they represented a particular part of the story each. Our experimentation allowed us to choose appropriate instruments and we considered how they effect the mood and feelings as well as sound effects you might hear.
