As homework is late this week, you have an extra day to do and it’s not due in until next Wednesday.

A huge congratulations to the dance group who won the Level 2 competition today! We’re now going to LPAC on Saturday to perform with other regional winners. If you want to come and watch, it starts at 7.30 and tickets are available here.

What a great day! We’ve worked with Connie to learn some new dance move and some of us were really surprised to find that we enjoyed ourselves more than expected! We loved sharing our moves with the adults and were very impressed with their own moves!

We thoroughly enjoyed learning some Egyptian dance moves and finding out about the history of the dancing.

This year ‘World Book Day’ takes place on Thursday 5th March 2015.
We will be promoting ‘Reading for Pleasure’ and have a number of exciting activities happening throughout the day. These will include: creating story boxes, telling stories using puppets, children sharing their favourite stories/authors, teachers reading their favourite stories as well as exploring new authors and different poems/poets.
On Thursday 5th March, we are inviting all children in year 3/4 to come dressed up as a character from a Roald Dahl book.

Don’t forget that this Tuesday, we have our very own belly dancing expert in school. Parents are invited into the hall from 3pm to watch our final performance and we hope to see you moving along with the rest of us!

This term, some children in Y3/4 have been working with Multi Skills Pro coaches to develop our tennis skills.  They are running camps for different sports over half term.  To find out more or book a place, click here.

This week, scripts will be coming home for those of you with a speaking part and costume letters will be sent so you know what to bring in.

Please ensure that costumes are in school by Wednesday 11th March.  Your homework over half term is to make sure you know your lines!

We were challenged to work as a team, co-operate and apply the skills taught through our ‘Getting along’ learning journey. What a brilliant and successful afternoon.
