On Friday 22nd January a group of fantastic dancers entered a dancing competition at Priory City School.

The competition was very tough and although we did not get through to the finals we had a fantastic time and enjoyed dancing on a big stage!

All of our dancers showed excellent standards of behaviour and great team spirit by wishing the other teams good luck!

Well done Waddington dancers!

Our bookfair will be back in school during the last week of term. It will run from Tues 9th-Thurs 11th February.

The competition this term is to design a book mark which shows your love of reading. The criteria are:

High quality presentation
Original ideas
A clear ‘love reading’ theme.

The deadline for entries is Friday 5th February. The winner will receive a £5 voucher to spend at the book fair.

Both Y4 and Y6 led our school to the county finals last week when they shone at the local heats at The Priory City of Lincoln Academy. We were so impressed with their behaviour and skills. We can’t wait for the finals on 9th March.

Today, Year 3 had a look at some Viking artefacts. We looked at the material they were made from and discussed what they might have been used for. There were a few surprises, like the Viking ice skates!
